Stalactites begin with a single drop of mineral-rich water formed on the top of a cavern. As each drop of water drops from the roof of the cave, it leaves behind the very small ring of a calcite deposit. As more and more drops form and fall, more rings are left behind. These then build upon one another over time, to create a gorgeous column hanging from the ceiling known as a stalactite. The result is a perfect gem alive with powerful ancient wisdom and pizazz.
